Brief Property History:
NE 1st PLACE PROPERTY
Purchased by a partnership of Paul and Reda, Ted, and Lanny Vander Hoek, under the name of Rural Properties, this building was occupied by an ambulance company and Water’s Automotive Repair Shop.
In the 1970’s, Christmas House on Main relocated to this building, as well as the building at 10230 Main Street and #15-103rd Avenue NE. The small duplex at #15 housed a small interior design firm.
In 2000, Vander Hoek Corporation acquired the East half of the NE 1st Place right-of-way. This joined the Main Street property together with the property at 10220 NE 1st Place.
